Writer's picture: Betty McDonaldBetty McDonald

YES!!

When you are hanging upside down, gravity is doing all the work to release the built up pressure in your joints, hips and back. Goodbye pain!

YES!!

By using the inversion table, you defeat the effects of gravity and your sciatica may improve and also decompress your spine.

YES:!! It increases blood circulation that tends to pool in your legs and moves it around your body. Circulation and flow of body fluids is extremely important and will add to your vitality. YES!!: Start with two minutes a day and build up. When I teeter totter back and forth on mine, I can feel the tension and pain melting from my body after about 10 minutes. I think more clearly, am more relaxed, pain free and ready to start the day. I chose a Harrison because the back is padded. Great investment! YES!!:

In most cases, your pain will decrease if your spine is in alignment. Regular gentle chiropractic will ensure that. Remember, be gentle. Your body, your injuries and your age are unique to you so go slowly. NO: PLEASE DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE. Lower your pressure with diet and exercise and then use one.

DO NOT USE IF YOU HAVE GLAUCOMA A HEART CONDITION, FRACTURE, OSTEOPOROSIS, ARE VERY OVERWEIGHT OR PREGNANT. In other words, be sensible. As with any physical exercise, modify it to meet your abilities, correct the limitations that keep you from using it, and take advantage of one of the easiest and most productive forms of self care imaginable. Gravity is our enemy and regular use of an inversion table can turn the table on this old enemy.
